Engineering the Sun

This girl's only camp explores the sun as the primary source of energy for all that we do. Activities will involve discovering sustainable living practices and activities. Campers will design and build several jewelry, decorations, and electronics from recycled materials. They will use hand tools in the construction and crafting activities. The girls will learn the basics about how solar power works and explore the importance of the sun and solar power in the buildings we live in, the food that we eat and the natural world around us.
